Books

Our team have been in a variety of book projects, including:

The Compassionate Mind Workbook

This book was written for anyone interested in learning about CFT, and developing greater compassion for themselves. It’s therefore helpful for the general public, clients who are seeing a therapist for CFT, or therapists who are interested in learning more about CFT, and using this book to help their clients work though the ideas and practices of CFT

CFT for Difficult Emotions

This book is useful for anyone who is interested in how CFT can help to manage and work with difficult emotions, such as anger, anxiety and shame. It can help to develop a broad range of emotion regulation strategies, including mindfulness, emotion labelling, acceptance and self-compassion

CFT from the Inside out

This book is useful for any clinician or practitioner who would like to learn about the theory, exercises and application of CFT through self-reflection and self-practice (so learning from ‘the inside out’)

Managing Stress

University life can be hard, and involve all sorts of stressors – meeting new friends, living away from home for the first time, financial problems, work pressure and exam stress. This book outlines ideas about how and why we struggle with this, and a variety of ideas to manage stress in a healthy and helpful way

Depression

Depression is the most common of mental health problems. This book was written for anyone interested in studying and learning about depression, including college and university students, along with academics and clinicians.
