Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) – London
If you have been looking for a therapy in London, Balanced Minds can provide you with different types of therapy to choose from according to your needs. Our warm, empathetic, and experienced therapists provide individual, group, couples and family therapy through a variety of evidence-based modalities.
Our therapists are specialists in Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), but are also skilled in delivering a variety of other therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
CFT stands for Compassion Focused Therapy, and it’s at the heart of what we do.
Initially developed by Professor Paul Gilbert, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) has been growing as an effective integrated psychological therapy that can help with a vast range of life difficulties, alleviating emotional distress and other mental health problems. If you are looking for a compassionate form of therapy, London-based or remotely, this innovative approach may work well for you.
How to organise a therapy session in London
Please book a therapy session with us by completing our secure self-referral form. One of our team will subsequently respond to you via email with options for arranging an initial assessment appointment, as required.

Our therapists are fully covered by the major health insurance companies.
