Dr Felicity Saunders is a Clinical Psychologist who gained her Doctorate from University College London. She has worked in mental health for 10 years and currently holds a senior NHS post working within sexual health and managing long term health conditions, particularly HIV. Felicity is also a lead psychologist in a clinic supporting women to access health care following sexual assault. 

Felicity has experience working with a range of difficulties in life, including depression and anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, trauma, psychosis, difficulties with sex and people living with long-term health conditions.

Felicity applies a compassionate and collaborative approach to her therapeutic space, focusing on working alongside the client to help achieve their therapeutic goals. She has co-created the psychology anti-racism groups for her NHS team and is mindful of difference (e.g. gender, ethnicity, religion and sexual orientation) and power within the therapeutic relationship. 

Felicity has a keen interest in Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), recently publishing articles focusing on this. Alongside this, she is able to draw on a range of other evidence-based therapies including; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness and systemic approaches.
