Gulshan Vazir is a highly experienced HCPC registered Senior Counselling Psychologist working with adults in both private practice and within the NHS. Alongside her private practice, Gulshan currently works at an NHS Trust in a world leading cancer psychology service. Gulshan offers short and long-term therapy for a range of issues and works with individuals, couples and families.
Gulshan has extensive experience of working with individuals facing a range of difficulties including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and people living with long-term health conditions and life limiting illnesses.
Gulshan believes having the space to reflect in a non-judgemental relationship can help develop new ways of coping and managing. In recent years, Gulshan has developed an interest in compassion-focused therapy because it has a strong understanding of why humans experience emotional distress while offering practical strategies to promote well-being. Gulshan is also fully trained and experienced in offering supervision for clinical and counselling psychology students and facilitating consultation and training to organisations and their staff members.
