Online Compassion Focused Therapy
If you have been looking to access therapy online, Balanced Minds can provide you with different types of therapy to choose from according to your needs. Our warm, empathetic, and experienced therapists provide individual, group, couples and family therapy through a variety of evidence-based modalities.
Whilst attending therapy face-to-face can be helpful, for many people it’s tricky. We have busy lives, and long hours at work, commuting and juggling family commitments, and it can be hard to carve out enough time to make in person therapy sessions manageable. This is where Online Compassion Focused Therapy can be the answer.
At Balanced Minds, we have lots of options for engaging in online Compassion Focused Therapy. Our team of therapists are experienced in helping the online experience to feel safe, connecting and helpful, from the comfort of your own home!
Our therapists are specialists in Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), but are also skilled in delivering a variety of other therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
CFT stands for Compassion Focused Therapy, and it’s at the heart of what we do.
Initially developed by Professor Paul Gilbert, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) has been growing as an effective integrated psychological therapy that can help with a vast range of life difficulties, alleviating emotional distress and other mental health problems. If you are looking for a compassionate form of therapy, and to be able to access this from the comfort of your home, our online-based or therapists might be ideal for you.
