Fear of Self-Compassion Scale

Compassion Focused Therapy

At Balanced Minds we are re interested in compassion, and in particular, self-compassion, and how this can be helpful for ourselves and others.

But for many people, there can be common blocks or fears to being self-compassionate. Recent research has found that the more fearful you are of self-compassion, then it’s likely you might struggle more with (amongst other things) higher levels of shame, self-criticism, stress and low mood.

Do you know whether you find self-compassion difficult? If you’d like to check at the level of your fears of self-compassion, take our short test to find out!
