The Self-Compassion App

 

We are proud to introduce The Self-Compassion App, an easy to use, supportive app to fit in your pocket, available when er you need it. The app contains 28 short sessions which contain advice from the experts on Compassion Focussed Therapy, Dr Chris Irons and Dr Elaine Beaumont. The sessions will guide you step-by-step through tricky emotions and help you to embrace feelings of love and kindness.

 

Our aim, of course, is to support you in balancing both body and mind. The journaling and daily reflections will help you develop a deeper awareness of yourself and your emotions. This is aimed to help you to develop positive habits to start and end your day. Moreover, as you progress throughout the course, you will unlock more and more tools that will better support you to tolerate tricky emotions, set helpful boundaries, build self-esteem, and more.

Our research has suggested that use of the app led to significant reductions in stress, anxiety, and self-criticism, as well as increases in self-compassion and wellbeing.

With a rating of 4.8 on the iTunes App Store, we’re delighted to be able to help people who might be struggling with some of these difficult emotions in their day to day lives.
